The Battles for Abuja

The campaign is fought district by district. Each territory is its own battle, and the districts below have battlefields all of their own: their own ground, landmarks and way of fighting. Win all five districts around your home, and the final Battle for Samiza opens.

The Battle for Garki

Concrete city blocks. Frontline: street fighting through a grid of gutted office and housing blocks in one of Abuja’s oldest districts.

The Battle for Wuse

The market quarter. Frontline: a fight across a sprawling market of tin-roofed stalls, kiosks and burnt-out buses on red laterite ground.

The Battle for Asokoro

Under the great rock. Frontline: an uphill fight through granite boulder fields beneath a giant rock dome, with enemy snipers on the high ground.

The Battle for Kubwa

The expressway. Frontline: a fight along a six-lane expressway with a concrete median, an overpass, abandoned cars and green farmland on both sides.

The Battle for Gwagwalada

River country. Frontline: a river crossing on red earth, with two bridges, sand bars and big mango trees on the banks.

The Battle for Samiza

The final battle. Frontline: the four warlords’ walled fortress on scorched ground, unlocked only when you hold every other district.

The road to Samiza

The campaign has seven territories. You start in Jabi, your home, with three districts on your doorstep: Kubwa, Wuse and Garki. Taking Kubwa or Wuse opens the way to Gwagwalada, and taking Kubwa or Garki opens the way to Asokoro. Each district you take pays you tribute every day.
