Samiza is where the war ends. When every other district of Abuja is yours, the four warlords retreat to their last stronghold and join forces. The Battle for Samiza is the final and hardest battle of the campaign.
Unlocking Samiza
Samiza stays locked until you hold all five districts around your home in Jabi: Kubwa, Gwagwalada, Wuse, Garki and Asokoro. The War Room shows your progress, for example 3/5. When the last district falls, the War Room offers Attack Samiza, and the campaign takes you there next.
The battlefield
Samiza is a valley ringed by high ridges, its ground blackened and scorched. The weather here is always the same: burning fields, with lines of fire along the edges of the valley and columns of smoke over the ridges. At the far end, around the last enemy line, stands the warlords’ fortress: high walls with a single gate facing you, a tower at each corner and, on the towers, the banners of the four warlords: the blue of the North Hawks, the brown of Black Dune, the red of the Red Lagoon and the gold of the Sand Vipers.
The enemy
All four warlords defend Samiza together as the United Front. Every enemy line is about a third larger than in an ordinary battle, and the last line fights from inside the fortress walls, which stop bullets and block sight.
Tactics
- Bring a full army: 30 soldiers and two tanks.
- Save War Funds before you attack. You will need to buy replacements throughout this battle.
- The fortress has one gate. Send one squad at the gate, and use grenades and tank fire on the defenders behind the walls.
- Doc’s Field medic keeps your army fighting through a long battle.
- Watch your deaths counter. Being pushed back here costs you a large, hard-won sector.
After Samiza
Win, and the warlords are beaten and Abuja is free. Every district you hold keeps paying tribute, and you can keep fighting to push your rank toward General.
