The battlefield shop
Tap the shop button during a battle to buy replacements as your soldiers fall. New soldiers run in from the safe zone straight away. In the battlefield shop you can call in any unit you can afford; in the War Room, your barracks level decides which units you can train.
| Unit | Price | Barracks level to train in the War Room | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rifleman | ₦3,000 | 1 | The backbone of every squad. |
| Grenadier | ₦6,000 | 2 | Throws grenades into trenches and machine-gun nests. |
| Medic | ₦6,000 | 2 | Heals soldiers around him. |
| Sniper | ₦10,000 | 3 | Picks off defenders from long range. |
| Armoured truck | ₦50,000 | 4 | Fast, with a heavy machine gun. |
| Battle tank and crew | ₦90,000 | 4 | A 120mm gun for nests and armour. |
Army limits
You can field up to 30 soldiers and 2 armoured vehicles at a time, and the two free tanks you start with count towards the two. If your whole army is bigger than 30, the rest wait as reserves and join automatically as soldiers fall. You can buy a replacement as soon as a soldier falls or a vehicle is destroyed.
The War Room and barracks
Between battles, open the War Room from the main menu. It shows your territories on a map, your army and your barracks. Upgrading the barracks unlocks new kinds of unit to train there: grenadiers and medics at level 2, snipers at level 3, armour at level 4. Soldiers you train or buy stay in your army for the next battle as long as they survive.
Daily Orders
Three new orders appear on the main menu every day, picked from: kill 40 enemies, land 8 headshots, break 5 enemy lines, win a battle, destroy 2 tanks or trucks, and call in 5 reinforcements. Progress is shown on the menu, and each one pays as soon as you complete it.
Ranks
Every battle earns experience. You start as a Recruit and can rise through nine ranks:
| Rank | Experience |
|---|---|
| Recruit | 0 |
| Private | 250 |
| Corporal | 700 |
| Sergeant | 1,600 |
| Lieutenant | 3,200 |
| Captain | 6,000 |
| Major | 10,000 |
| Colonel | 16,000 |
| General | 25,000 |
Spending wisely
- Buy riflemen early; they are cheap and do most of the fighting.
- Save for barracks level 2 first: grenadiers and medics change how battles go.
- Don't buy armour until you face enemy tanks in the later sectors.
- Do the Daily Orders: they are the steadiest income in the game.
