Operators Guide: Tiger, Hawk, Doc and Rhino

Before each battle you choose an operator: the soldier you play as. Each has one special ability, used with the round blue button on the battle screen. Abilities recharge over 40 to 45 seconds, so a good operator choice can turn two or three fights in every battle.
The four operators
| Operator | Role | Ability | What it does | Recharge |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tiger | Assault | Adrenaline | Heals you to full health and makes you run 30% faster for 6 seconds. | 40 s |
| Hawk | Recon | Drone scan | Marks every enemy for 10 seconds, even behind walls and hills. | 45 s |
| Doc | Medic | Field medic | Heals you and every soldier near you. | 40 s |
| Rhino | Heavy | Armour up | You take half damage for 8 seconds. | 45 s |
Tiger (Assault)
Tiger is for players who like to lead the push. Adrenaline is both an escape and an attack: use it when you are badly hurt to get back to full health, or use it at full health to sprint across open ground into cover before the enemy can react. It is the most forgiving operator for new players.
Hawk (Recon)
Hawk's drone scan shows you every enemy on the field for ten seconds. It is ideal at the start of each sector, when you don't know where the defenders are dug in, and in misty dawn battles where you can't see far. Pair Hawk with the M24 sniper rifle and you can pick out targets before they know you are there.
Doc (Medic)
Doc keeps your army alive. Field medic heals you and every soldier close to you, so stay with your squads and use it after a heavy exchange of fire. Fewer losses means fewer reinforcements to buy, which saves War Funds over a long campaign.
Rhino (Heavy)
Rhino halves the damage you take for eight seconds. Use it when you have to cross open ground, storm a trench or hold the safe zone against the squad sent to free a captured commander. It pairs well with the shotgun or the MP5.
Changing operator and weapon
Tap Operator on the main menu. The same screen lets you pick your primary weapon and your aim speed. Your choice is remembered for the next battle.
